Is there any limitation about OS version and distribution when a Linux machine is used as a remote machine (target)?

I have done on CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntu and OEL across numerous versions without issue. Though if running advanced assessments, keep in mind you do need to check the executions are setup correctly to the distro.
