What are the minimum permissions required of the InsightVM account credentials used for the Rapid7 InsightVM platform integration?

Hi guys

I’m looking at integrating out Cymulate platform with Rapid7 VM.

Cymulate requires Rapid7 VM credentials to access the platform to get data.

 

What are the minimum InsightVM permissions required for the integration to work? I would rather not create an InsightVM admin account for cymulate if I don’t have to.

Hello @jack_parker 

To access InsightVM Cymulate uses these API endpoints:

  • api/3/assets 
  • api/3/vulnerabilities 
  • api/3/solutions

You need to understand with the vendor what are the minimum privileges needed to use the above endpoints
